Well, yes, that would be ideal. But because you can't compile gdc as
part of gcc 4.3 or 4.2 (yet), it has to be a separate package. There's
not really any way to install only gdc either, if you
--enable-languages=d it'll compile the C compiler as well + a bunch of
libraries (libiberty, libmudflap, libssp, ...) and install other
things that will conflict with the stuff already installed by other
packages. It's all possible to fix, it's just a nuisance.
