[aur-general] State of LCD filtering packages?

As cairo 1.10 introduces LCD filtering (http://tinyurl.com/35vznmr),
cairo-lcd and lib32-cairo-lcd from AUR are no longer needed. If they're
removed, maybe we should add a 'replaces' entry in cairo and lib32-cairo.
(request to arch-dev-general?)
Besides, I wonder if libxft-lcd (in community) and its 32-bit counterpart in
AUR are still useful, since I get LCD filtering with bare libxft, the only
needed package from AUR was fontconfig-lcd.
