This is the old fork of the devel team that now maintains mc.
Deprecated for years.

Slavz (from Slava Zanko) was the name of the above mentioned fork.
He now leads the mc development team.
Script doesnt use the forgotten forks sources but its uneeded since its the
same as the package in extra only noone maintains it.

The utf-8 patch has been incorporated in mc since the early recent releases.
It had also been part of the slavz fork.

A fork of the old unmaintained mc. It added some features to it, but now has
been superseeded by the recent releases of mc under the new management.
Definitely deprecated, no release in more than six years.
