I recently had a problem with a service file of a package in AUR . I
already contacted the maintener but we both don't know how to make it work
across diferentes providers of java.
My java-runtime is provided by jdk , it sets JAVA_HOME and adds
/opt/java/bin to PATH in the file /etc/profile.d/jdk.sh . But aparently
these variables are not set when the service file calls the start script of
PMS. Is this behavior expected? If so, how to find out where the java
executable is without these variables?
