The package was only flagged out-of-date today (2013-12-03). Generally you need to contact the current maintainer (speps in this case) before posting request on the list, and wait for at least 2 weeks if he doesn't respond you.

PS: The mailing-list tag [aur-general] will be added automatically so you don't need to add it in title manually :)
