I think this is the best solution, rather than discussing about top or
bottom posting. Also some mail clients "minimize" the quoted parts if
they have a length greater than certain threshold (for example,
Thunderbird use 3 or 5 lines as threshold) so the mail is still readable
when someone post after or before the whole history.
