It makes sense to package useful libraries, whether or not applications
depend on them. However, I don't think anyone sane would use libwww in a
new project. It's far outclassed by libcurl and other alternatives.

Sergej has a *lot* of packages, and I'm sure you'll find many more
seemingly useless ones like this. I don't really see a point in having
stuff like GTK1 file managers in the repositories, but others may
disagree :).
