There're some packages depending on it:
psp-pthreads-emb
psp-sdl

...and more packages are in the tree:

psp-openal
psp-sdl_gfx
psp-sdl_image
psp-sdl_mixer
psp-sdl_ttf

Are you suggesting to remove them all? Otherwise please update those two 
packages so we won't end up with broken dependencies.
