TrialnError [1] filed a request to merge gnupg2-git [2] into gnupg-git
[3]:

The former Maintainer replaced gnupg2-git with gnupg-git and advices
to use gnupg-git as it is more up to date (pacman4.1 VCS PKGBuild
transition) and in case of the naming scheme following the arch repo.
