The maintainer of  lib32-libx264([1]) used the i386-package from the main arch FTP Server To build the multilib package  in x86_64. That did not build anymore since that server does not exist anymore. 
I provided him a PKGBUILD which builds lib32-libx264 from the git source oft git's stable branch ([2]) on a 64-bit arch.
