fwiw, I made the other guy co-maintainter and commented on why I think
it should be the other package removed

basically my point is that python-github is wrong, because the python
module is called pygithub so the package should be named
python-pygithub

also, python-pygithub was submitted first, the other guy made the
actual duplicate
