gfidente [1] filed a request to merge python-github [2] into python-
pygithub [3]:

I think the name for this package is wrong, the module is named
PyGithub so the aur package should be called python-pygithub as well,
not python-github.

A package named python-pygithub was submitted before this version.

If carlwgeorge wants to maintain python-pygithub I'll be happy to
disown python-pygithub.
