[aur-requests] [PRQ#7930] Merge Request for python2-filterpy

tuftedocelot [1] filed a request to merge python2-filterpy [2] into
python-filterpy [3]:

Hello,

Following the recommendation in this thread[0], I am requesting that
python2-filterpy be merged into python-filterpy. I created a split
package and AUR refuses to let the python2 version be overwritten. If
there's a better/proper procedure that I should be following, please
let me know. I tried searching, but the referenced thread was the only
pertinent result I could find.
