m3thodic [1] filed a deletion request for gnome-shell-extension-
maximus-ng-git [2]:

Author has discontinued development and recommends users to use the
gnome-shell-extension pixel saver instead: ** DISCONTINUED ** I don't
really have time to maintain MaximusNG any longer, and bugs are
mounting on the latest versions of Gnome due to ever changing APIs and
switch to Wayland. I would recommend Pixel Saver, it's far superior,
sees continuous improvements and Wayland support is in the way:
