jamincollins [1] filed a deletion request for ceph-git [2]:

The package is woefully out of date (it was last updated 2015-06-09
18:38).  The maintainer has stated "Don't have time to maintain this
package anymore. If anyone else wants to take it over, feel free.".
The non-git version of this package is far more current.
