Morganamilo [1] filed a request to merge pep8 [2] into pep8-asm-git
[3]:

An unrelated package called pep8 existed in the past. This causes this
package to be listed as a dependency for another unrelated package and
python-pycodestyle in community tries to replace this package. Renamed
to pep8-asm-git to avoid confusion.
