Maverick [1] filed a deletion request for python-comedi [2]:

Seems unmaintained - does not build on x64. Name comedi checking out
pycomedi seems misleading, as pycomedi is a third-party
reimplementation of the official comedi python wrapper. The python
module is called comedi too.

I will create a python-pycomedi-git instead checking out the most up
to date branch of github...
