cookiengineer [1] filed a orphan request for gnome-shell-extension-
mediaplayer-git [2]:

The package is orphaned, the maintainer has no time to update the
package to its current HEAD. The current HEAD of the source repository
on github is compatible with up-to-date GNOME shell.

(I would be willing and love to adopt this package, in case no
maintainer can be found)
