TrialnError [1] filed a deletion request for gnome-settings-
daemon-120dpi [2]:

To quote the latest comment on this package from the  orphaned + OOD
list:
"I am getting very good results in 3.20 by just using the scaling
option in gnome tweak tool. It seems we can could away without this
hack now."
And as no one is maintaing it it seems this is general consens.
