eschwartz [1] filed a deletion request for pacli [2]:

ancient, unmaintained code, includes unstated dependencies on things
that were moved to pacman-contrib, as well as pacman-optimize which no
longer exists at all.

Includes ill-advised functionality like --force'ing packages, which is
user choice I guess... but the option is deprecated and will soon
disappear entirely.

Regardless of one's personal beliefs about the uselessness of the
script, in order to be relevant today it needs a number of changes to
adapt to the current state of pacman and the pacman ecosystem.

Also it has *one* major feature that isn't just serving as a complex
menu-driven alias for a single other command. And that feature is
Manjaro-specific.
