rafaelff [1] filed a deletion request for fwupdate [2]:

Upstream now made it very clear the project is dead by closing all PR
and issues that were opened, and by removing everything in the
repository. See: https://github.com/rhboot/fwupdate/pull/136

It was superseded by 'fwupd', which is in official repositories.
