diabonas [1] filed a request to merge redshift-wlr-gamma-control [2]
into redshift-wlr-gamma-control-git [3]:

This is an (orphaned) duplicate of redshift-wlr-gamma-control-git.
Since it builds the top of the "wayland" branch, it is a VCS package
and must therefore use a -git suffix. Upstream doesn't really have
releases (it is a fork of the main redshift project with a single
commit on top of it adding Wayland support), so there is no need for a
stable package either.
