Request #19207 has been rejected by eschwartz [1]:

User was given maintainership of the package.

For future notice, we do not handle this via "deletion", but via
"orphaning", and you should wait to submit a moderation request until
after you have tried, and failed, to contact the current maintainer.
In this case there was no need for us to get involved, as the current
maintainer immediately granted you the package. :)
