Request #27501 has been rejected by alerque [1]:

Thanks for filing the merge request as suggested and sorry I didn't
catch this earlier, but these are *not* the same project. The same
author wrote both and considers one a replacement for the other, but
they have separate histories and usages and are both still valid
upstream projects in their own right. Given the chance somebody is
using these and doesn't want to be forced to port their configs, there
isn't any real benefit to merging
