yochananmarqos [1] filed a request to merge create_ap [2] into linux-
wifi-hotspot [3]:

create_ap is no longer maintained:
https://github.com/oblique/create_ap

linux-wifi-hotspot is a maintained fork and also provides a GUI,
wihotspot. The Makefile now has the ability to install either the CLI
or the GUI or both. I'd like to create a split package:
