Request #27011 has been rejected by alerque [1]:

Having a more recent -bin package is not a reason to delete a source
build package. Sometimes source builds take longer to work out, but
there are reasons to prefer them and the votes, comments, and other
sign suggest there is no reason to delete this. Use the -bin if you
prefer it. If you (or somebody) are interested in maintaining this
please file an orphan request instead.
