Request #25385 has been rejected by eschwartz [1]:

It is forbidden to use make -j $(nproc) in a PKGBUILD.

Please set MAKEFLAGS=4 or whatever number of processes you prefer, in
/etc/makepkg.conf or $HOME/.config/pacman/makepkg.conf

> limit the architectures to 64-bit and 32-bit x86, which are really
the only ones I confidently support

I presume the maintainer of the -git package has tested it and is
confident.
