HurricanePootis [1] filed a deletion request for sdl12-compat [2]:

I bundled the 64bit and 32bit versions of this library into a singular
pkgbuild, which is proving troublesome with dependency completion with
tools like paru. Therefore, I am requesting this base package be
deleted.
