pancho [1] filed a deletion request for the_platinum_searcher [2]:

Upstream seems abandoned:

- No commits since 5 Sept 2018

- Dependency resolution via the deprecated godep

- Superseded by ripgrep

Also, this package cannot be built anymore, since godep was dropped
from archlinux, and nobody has complained about it.
