MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for xmpppy [2]:

Orphaned Python 2 package, last updated in 2018.

None of its two AUR dependents work anymore.
Package name is wrong - it's library, should be python2-xmpppy.

AUR has a python-xmpppy-git and python2-xmpppy-git - so if this
4-year-outdated package is deleted, those can be used - or a new
stable package can be created under the proper python library name.
