popularity. Packaging hasn't been updated in >1.5 years. If folks need
to log in via serial, GNU screen (in extra) has you covered. If a GUI
is desired, there is PuTTY (in extra). There also exist many
libraries, in several languages, for low-level interfacing over serial
connections.
