MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python2-eventlib [2]:

Broken, abandoned in 2016. Obsolete Python2-based version. Cannot be
built because of already dropped dependency. Safe to delete.

Its sole AUR consumer is python2-sipsimple, that is also broken,
deletion request submitted. (Python3-based 'python-sipsimple' is
available from AUR.)
