MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for kpdftool [2]:

I suggest this package can be deleted, this KDE app has been
discontinued 10 years ago, in 2012. Source seems unavailable. It also
would require outdated qt4. Nothing in AUR depends on it. Safe to
delete. There are so many working, up-to-date alternatives that are
capable of editing, splitting, merging PDF/PS files.
