This package does have a maintainer. I am still waiting for their
response as to whether they want to resolve the Python 2 / GObject /
Gtk dependency problems and use this with the old Python 2 based bzr.

~2-3 weeks might be too short a notice for such issues to be
communicated and corrected. Fixing seems to be possible if/when
maintainer has the necessary time available to dedicate to these
matters.
