MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python2-meep [2]:

Orphaned Python 2 based package.
Last updated 5 years ago, in 2017.

This does not work because of already dropped Python 2
based dependencies. But no users complained;
there are no comments at all.

Also nothing depends on it so it's safe to delete.
There are Python 3 based alternatives on AUR (stable + VCS).
