MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for xkeyboard-config-rub [2]:

Orphaned package last updated in 2015.

Doesn't seem to be needed by anyone.

There are zero user requests or comments for this.

It's a custom-patched xorg xkeyboard build.

The included Russian BEPO layout patch is based on the marginally used
French BÉPO keyboard layout.

Nevertheless, it seems the latter has been updated in 2019 based on a
new French AZERTY layout.

This patch from 2015 has not been maintained since its original
upload.

There are almost no hardware keyboard available for the French BÉPO.
I doubt there is even one such keyboard for Russian.

Maintainer has disowned the package last month because of lack of user
demand, including themself.
