MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for gvm [2]:

I suggest to delete this deprecated package, last updated in 2018.

This was an unofficial Go language based dependency manager
working with up to Go version 1.4, which is EOL since 2016.

According to README, gvm can work with Go environment 1.5
but has to be built with Go 1.4.

Meanwhile the current Go version is 1.18.

Since 2017, Go project had the AUR/dep tool for
dependency management.
Later, Go has rolled out a new builtin tool: go mod.

Both support standardized dependency management
and canonicalized versioning.

Contrary to those, gvm is nonstandard, unofficial
and deprecated, and it cannot even be compiled anymore.

Nothing on AUR depends on this package, so it's best to delete it.
