MarsSeed [1] filed a deletion request for python2-nibabel-git [2]:

Obsolete Python 2 based VCS package.

Python nibabel now requires at least Python 3.6.
Python 2 is no longer supported.

AUR has the Python 3 based python-nibabel package which works.
This package is not needed anymore.
(It has 1 AUR dependent which is also pending deletion
because that also no longer supports Python 2.)

Safe to delete. No loss of function.
