I had a look on the code... it is a different aproach, but does the same :)

But if the code changes on this cvs branch are not stable... it would be
easy to use my patch just for pacman-2.9.8 ... until the real pacman
2.9.9 or 3.0 or whatever comes.... from that cvs tree.
