It probably won't work on the first install as backup sums are not
saved from a previous install. In addition, the files are likely not
already in the backup array because they could have been changing (see
what happened to makepkg.conf).

Obviously the testing release where we drop the 3 business and just
install in place of pacman will not have this issue.
