You mean the deps for -S operations only, right?
For instance:
IgnorePkg foo bar
package bunk depends=(foo baz)

pacman -S bunk
Targets: bunk baz

??

Does that sound reasonable?  If so, please throw that in an FR on the
bug tracker.
