It works. Haven't seen any problems.

Just for kicks, I ran it through valgrind's memory checker with
few options (like -Suy, -Ss, -Qi). Didn't see any leaks. Perhaps
someone in the team did that already, or that you're too good to
make such silly mistakes :P
