[pacman-dev] [bug?] pacman 3 doesn't check for free space in /var/cache/pacman/pkg/

I checked something into CVS yesterday, but I do not have a separate
/var partition.  Could you either build from CVS, or possibly be
available for testing in IRC some time tomorrow (between now+12:00 and
now+15:00) ?
