Oh, what I said might only apply to : git-commit -a -s .
That should automatically add the tracked files that were modified.
Hm yes, just checked the manpage :)
-a|--all
Tell the command to automatically stage files that have
been modified and deleted, but new files you have not
told git about are not affected.
