Well, I am not sure I understand it.
The local database in /var/lib/pacman/local/ and the package cache in
/var/cache/pacman/pkg are two very different things.
The scriptlets are stored in the local database, and the local db should
never be touched. Anyway, it's the package cache which consumes disk space
and is usually cleaned with -Sc.
What am I missing here?
