It wouldn't be too difficult to implement would it?
Just trying to brainstorm a better method for this alert thing.

ChangeLogs don't seem to get much use right now, but this is the perfect
application for it.

Maybe we can see more people using it instead of echoing messages via
the install scriptlets as well. That annoys the hell out of me.
