[arch-dev-public] asymptote in extra?
I'd like to bring asymptote (a vector graphics language, http://asymptote.sourceforge.net/) to extra. It is currently in AUR (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=10348). I could actually bundle it with texlive-bin since it is now (optionally) included in TeXLive 2009, but packaging it separately is much less trouble. I would add it to texlive-bin's optdepends. Objections?

No issues from me if it is an (opt)depend of a current package. Allan

Sounds fine to me, especially if it can be used with texlive. BTW, since you took over the TeX distribution on Arch and introduced TeXlive instead of tetex, everything has been working splendidly here.

Thanks! nice to hear that ;) Given the complexity of packaging TeXLive, it is hard to avoid occasional glitches, but the packages behave quite smoothly I think. F
