Hi all. In the course of building the current -mm release, I came across a Gentoo patch for nvidia with 2.6.23-rc kernels. I don't have nvidia myself, but a user has now confirmed that it's working as expected. The patch is in CVS for the unstable/nvidia-mm package. T.
