[arch-dev-public] [signoff] openssl and ca-certificates
Hi devs, it has been in testing for some time now. So I guess if nobody noticed any problem so far it should be all fine. So, what's new about openssl? * removed from base group * optdepends to ca-certificates (depends would not work, because openssl has to be installed before openssl due to the install script) * depends on zlib (no more staticaly build against zlib) and perl (needed by c_rehash script) * Stack marked as not executable. This only affects x86_64 or custom kernels with pae (and NX capable CPU) or pax. My comment is that "because openssl has to be installed before openssl" is confusing.... :) Otherwise, this seems fine to me. Signoff i686 Allan
