Hi there,
I've just compiled mplayer with the mplayer-svn package from the AUR on my
x86_64 box, after having removed the "--enable-fribidi" option. Seems OK.

Uow! This explains a lot.
From the configure script we have:
--./configure --help | grep fribidi --enable-fribidi enable the FriBiDi libs [autodetect]
Then i think that we can remove the --enable-fribidi option. Can a x86_64 owner test it?
